About the Opportunity
ITC Asset Management is offering a structured Work Experience opportunity for school leavers, TAFE students, and university students who are looking to gain hands-on exposure in IT operations, customer handling, and warehouse environments.
This placement is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, confident communicators, and interested in building real-world experience within the IT and technology services sector.
Key Responsibilities
During the placement, you will gain exposure across multiple business functions, including:
- Customer handling (answering calls, making outbound calls, live chat support)
- Assisting with IT device refurbishment
- Supporting data wiping and basic IT asset handling
- General administrative support
- Assisting with creative ad and content development
- Warehouse assistance and basic stock handling
- Showroom and warehouse cleaning and organisation
- Supporting day-to-day operational tasks as required
This role involves a variety of tasks, providing practical insight into how a growing IT asset management business operates.
Requirements
- Good English language and communication skills (spoken and written)
- Basic IT background or IT-related studies
- Ability to explain basic IT technologies (e.g. computers, devices, hardware concepts)
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Suitable for school leavers, TAFE students, or university students
- You must arrange and hold your own personal insurance for the duration of the placement
Work Hours & Conditions
- Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Breaks:
- 30-minute lunch break
- Two 10-minute rest breaks
- Duration: 1 to 3 months
- This is a non-paid work experience placement
