About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Go To Market and Product Planning, the Go to Market (GTM) Analyst plays a crucial role in driving commercial alignment across the business. The role focuses on optimising operations to deliver strong, consistent sales performance, while also ensuring seamless launch alignment as GWM brings new products to market.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Sales Planning
- Retail and wholesale forecast tracking
- Budget / Business Plan Forecast & Tracking
- Opportunity and performance analysis
- Product Mix and Trim Mix optimisation
- Channel Mix optimisation
- Price positioning analysis – Visible, Spec adjusted and Transactional value analysis
- Incentive forecast needs and performance analysis
- Supply chain alignment to approved Retail and wholesale plans
Go-to-Market Strategy Development
- Support the development of comprehensive GTM strategies for new products, model updates, and special initiatives.
- Define launch objectives, key milestones, and success metrics in collaboration with leadership.
- Identify market opportunities, competitive advantages, and customer insights to shape GTM plans.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Provide leadership and visibility to support GTM and Company goals, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Aftersales
Reporting and Analysis
- Conduct extensive market research on automotive trends, challenges, and industry shifts to guide GTM decisions
- Analyse sales data, market share, and segment performance to uncover growth opportunities or risks
Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, or related roles within the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of automotive product launches, sales enablement, and consumer marketing
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with data analytics tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms
- Moderate to high proficiency in excel
