Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will shape our financial strategy, optimize resource allocation, and ensure fiscal integrity across the organization. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize profitability and growth.
- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation for large-scale capital projects, including network expansion and technology upgrades.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects and technology rollouts.
- Manage capital expenditure budgets and track the return on investment for large-scale projects.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports and present them to the CEO and board.
- Engage with external audit firm and ensure annual audit compliance
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and telecommunications regulations.
- Monitor and implement regulatory requirements related to telecommunication services, ensuring financial compliance with industry-specific rules.
- Identify and implement strategies to optimize revenue streams.
- Analyze pricing models and customer data to maximize profitability and manage customer acquisition costs.
- Drive strategies for managing cash flow, including working capital, accounts receivable, and collections.
- Develop and implement financial risk management strategies that protect the company’s assets and profitability.
- Ensure robust internal controls are in place to safeguard the company's financial integrity.
- Manage the company’s corporate insurance program, ensuring appropriate risk level is attained in a competitive manner.
- Oversee the finance team, including accounting, payroll, tax, and financial planning functions.
- Implement cost control measures to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Support the adoption of new financial technologies and software to streamline operations and improve financial reporting.
- Oversee 401k plan administration and employee benefits.
- Provide all CFO services to our partner company.
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- CPA, CMA or MBA certification preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in financial leadership, preferably within the telecommunications or broadband industry.
- Experience managing capital-intensive projects and infrastructure investments.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting in a regulated industry.
Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
