Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead our organization’s revenue-generating strategies and initiatives. The CRO will play a pivotal role in driving growth, expanding market share, and strengthening customer relationships through innovative business development, strategic planning, and operational excellence. This leadership position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future trajectory of our company as we evolve from advertising supported B2B media to a hybrid media and subscription-based DaaS business. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue growth strategies aligned with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, business development, and customer success to optimize performance and collaboration.
- Identify new market opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and expand existing client relationships to accelerate revenue streams.
- Oversee the entire sales pipeline process from prospecting to closing, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets.
- Implement data-driven processes for forecasting, performance measurement, and continuous improvement across revenue functions.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and agreements with clients, partners, and vendors to maximize profitability.
- Drive process improvements within sales operations and business development activities to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align revenue initiatives with overall business goals while managing budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
Skills
- A proven history of YoY sales growth as a salesperson and in sales management
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales of advertising, marketing services, or media-related products and services
- Strong management skills with experience leading large teams across multiple departments.
- Strategic planning expertise to develop innovative approaches for revenue expansion.
- Proven success in senior leadership roles within fast-growing organizations or industries.
- Expertise in state-of-the-art digital marketing strategies and tactics, sales & marketing enablement platforms, marketing automation platforms, social media marketing, programmatic marketing, content-based marketing, online events/webinars, and more.
- Business development acumen to identify opportunities for growth and market penetration.
- Project management skills to oversee complex initiatives from conception through execution.
- Process improvement capabilities to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Operations management experience ensuring seamless integration between sales strategies and organizational functions.
