A Private Equity backed, fast-growth and highly ambitious business is looking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer as it enters the next phase of its growth journey.
The company has strong investor backing, ambitious expansion plans and a leadership team focused on building a high performing, scalable organisation.
Finance will sit right at the centre of that journey.
This appointment goes far beyond traditional financial management. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping strategy, managing investor relationships and ensuring the business has the financial structure and discipline required to scale and create value.
Working closely with the CEO, Board and Private Equity investors, the CFO will act as both a strategic partner and operational leader, helping guide the business through its next phase of growth.
Whilst this role carries significant strategic influence, the successful candidate will also retain full leadership of the finance function, ensuring the business maintains strong reporting, controls and operational finance capability.
The Role
- The CFO will take responsibility for the overall financial leadership of the organisation, working closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive growth and long term value creation.
- Responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board
- Leading financial strategy, planning and long term value creation
- Managing relationships with the Private Equity investors and supporting investor reporting
- Leading board level reporting, financial planning and performance analysis
- Overseeing funding structures, banking relationships, capital planning and financing strategy
- Supporting investment activity, growth initiatives and wider strategic projects
- Leading Group reporting, financial consolidation and statutory reporting
- Building and overseeing a high performing FP&A function to drive insight and decision making
- Ensuring strong financial governance, audit readiness, controls and risk management frameworks
- Providing commercial insight to support major strategic decisions across the business
- Leading and developing the finance function as the organisation scales
- Driving improvements in finance systems, automation, data and reporting infrastructure
- Championing the use of technology, automation and AI within finance to improve efficiency and insight
- Ensuring finance has the processes, systems and data capability required to support continued growth
This role will combine strategy, investor engagement and financial leadership, whilst maintaining oversight of the operational finance function.
Your Profile
We are looking for an experienced finance leader who is comfortable operating at CFO or senior Finance Director level within ambitious, high growth environments.
You will likely bring:
- Experience operating at CFO, Finance Director or senior finance leadership level
- A strong technical grounding in accounting, reporting and governance
- Experience working within Private Equity backed or high growth businesses
- Strong credibility with boards, investors and senior leadership teams
- Experience managing funding, capital planning and investor relationships
- The ability to combine strategic thinking with operational financial leadership
- A pragmatic, hands on leadership style alongside strong commercial capability
The Opportunity
