Business Operations Analyst
Location: Memphis, TN (Hybrid)
Our client, a globally recognized leader in biomedical research and healthcare innovation, has an immediate need for a Business Operations Analyst to support the Laboratory Information Technology Services (LITS) team within Research Information Services. This role is based in Memphis, Tennessee and offers a hybrid work schedule.

The Business Operations Analyst will lead a critical, organization-wide lab instrument inventory initiative while also supporting operational and analytical projects. The primary focus of the role will be business analysis, data collection, reporting, and dashboard development, with occasional involvement in technical instrument onboarding activities as needed. This initiative will provide improved visibility into laboratory assets and drive operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
Technical Skills
- Manage workflows within ServiceNow and other ITSM tools
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Working knowledge of business intelligence tools (Power BI is a plus)
- Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Familiarity with IT operations and performance metrics
- Experience creating reports and dashboards

Education & Experience

- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus
