Role Description
We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a part-time hybrid role based in Berlin, Germany, with flexibility for some remote work. The position will not be paid until we receive funding. Until then none of our members can received compensation.
The CFO will oversee financial strategy, planning, and reporting for the organization, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, developing budgets, managing cash flow, and implementing financial best practices. The CFO will provide strategic insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Planning, creating sound budgets, and managing financial operations
- Proven experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data and providing strategic recommendations
- Background in Finance with the ability to manage cash flow and optimize financial resources
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA designation is an wwadvantage
