Job Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading the company's financial strategy, IPO readiness, regulatory compliance, and financial governance. The role involves working closely with promoters, board members, merchant bankers, auditors, and legal advisors to ensure smooth execution of the SME IPO process and maintaining strong financial controls post listing.
Key Responsibilities – Financial Strategy
• Lead the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Develop long‑term financial strategy aligned with business growth and capital market plans.
• Provide strategic financial insights to promoters and board members.
• Manage cash flow planning, working capital management, and capital allocation.
IPO Readiness & Capital Market Transactions
• Lead financial preparation for SME IPO, including coordination with Merchant Bankers, Legal Advisors, Auditors, and other intermediaries.
• Oversee preparation of financial information for DRHP / Prospectus.
• Ensure readiness of financial statements, restated financials, and audit documentation.
• Support due diligence processes conducted by merchant bankers and legal advisors.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI (ICDR) Regulations and stock exchange listing requirements.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) / applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee preparation of quarterly, half‑yearly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and stock exchange requirements.
• Coordinate statutory audit, internal audit, and secretarial audit processes.
Corporate Governance & Risk Management
• Establish strong internal financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Develop risk management and financial compliance frameworks.
• Monitor financial performance and identify operational or financial risks.
• Support board committees such as Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee.
Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management
• Assist management in building investor communication frameworks.
• Participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and analyst interactions during IPO.
• Prepare investor presentations and financial disclosures.
Team Leadership
• Lead the finance and accounts team.
• Strengthen finance processes, MIS systems, and reporting frameworks.
• Build a scalable finance function aligned with growth and listing requirements.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong expertise in financial strategy and corporate finance
• Knowledge of IPO processes and capital market regulations
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance
