Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Knoxville, TN. The Chief Sales Officer will oversee and drive company-wide sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth. Responsibilities include managing and optimizing sales operations, developing and executing sales plans, leading and mentoring the sales team, and ensuring alignment of sales strategies with organizational goals. The role also involves strengthening client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and fostering a high-performing sales culture. Collaboration with other leadership team members to ensure cross-functional alignment will be critical.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Sales and Sales Management with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding revenue goals
- Experience with Sales Operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
- Strong capabilities in Team Management and Training to lead and develop high-performing sales teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Experience in the relevant industry is a plus
