Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations. The CFO will oversee all financial aspects, including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance. This executive role requires a leader with strong analytical skills, deep financial expertise, and the ability to develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to support organizational growth and stability.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, including financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606, and COSO standards.
- Manage budgeting processes, expense control, cost management, and cost accounting initiatives.
- Lead revenue management efforts and optimize revenue cycle management across various business units.
- Conduct risk analysis and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial exposure.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for governmental accounting and other applicable standards.
- Oversee treasury management activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment strategies.
- Supervise mergers & acquisitions activities, including due diligence and integration processes.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and interpret complex data for senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead business development initiatives through market analysis and strategic planning efforts.
Requirements:
- CPA certification strongly preferred (or equivalent advanced accounting credential); MBA or advanced degree a plus
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Proven experience in multi-location/multi-unit businesses – experience with M&A highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, cash flow optimization, corporate governance, and compliance in regulated industries.
- Strong strategic mindset with hands-on execution; comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills – ability to translate complex financial and legal concepts to non-expert stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel/modeling.
