We are partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented manufacturer in the Greater Philadelphia market on a newly opened Chief Financial Officer search.
This is a high-impact executive leadership opportunity for a strategic, hands-on finance leader who wants to do more than oversee reporting. The company is seeking a CFO who can serve as a true right-hand partner to the President, help elevate the finance function, and work cross-functionally to support growth, operational performance, and stronger decision-making across the business.
The finance team has a solid foundation in place, including strong controls and timely reporting. The opportunity here is not about rebuilding the basics. It is about stepping into a well-run organization and helping leadership better leverage financial insight across operations, sales, inventory, cost structure, and long-term planning.

- Serve as a key financial and strategic advisor to the President and executive leadership team
- Lead the finance function, including oversight of accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Translate financial performance into clear, actionable insight that supports stronger decision-making across the business
- Partner closely with operations, sales, and leadership to improve visibility into performance drivers, profitability, and business trends
- Provide leadership around inventory, costing, scrap, rework, sourcing strategy, and other core manufacturing finance metrics
- Help identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, automation, and stronger financial visibility across the organization
- Develop and mentor the finance team while continuing to build on an already strong foundation
- Support annual planning, cash flow management, capital planning, and overall business strategy
- Contribute to growth planning efforts, with potential involvement in evaluating new business opportunities or M&A activity
- Ensure the organization maintains sound financial discipline while supporting a collaborative, forward-looking business culture

- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify financial information and influence decision-making across the organization
- Hands-on, practical leadership style with strong business judgment and a problem-solving mindset
- Experience leading and developing finance teams in product-based businesses
- Background in a similarly sized manufacturing company, or potentially a somewhat larger organization, is preferred
