We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of our organization in Staunton, Virginia. This role requires an experienced, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and strategic leadership. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the organization's financial health and partnering with senior leadership to drive sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the organization’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls.
- Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage financial systems and collaborate with IT teams to ensure efficient and accurate financial data management.
- Develop and implement strategies for cost management and revenue generation.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Analyze financial data to interpret strategic visions and translate them into operational models.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and insurance providers.
- Ensure the effective management of inventory accounting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of broad finance experience, including accounting and financial analysis.
- Proven ability to serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate strategic visions into operational plans.
- Demonstrated experience managing financial systems and collaborating with IT staff.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
- Hands-on leadership style with a proactive and integrity-driven approach.
- Familiarity with inventory accounting processes and practices.
