Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $100.00 to $150.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the finance and accounting function and ensure accurate records, reports, and controls across the organization.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, cash management, and timely financial reporting with clear analysis for leadership.
- Guide risk management for assets, contracts, intellectual property, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Direct information technology policy at a high level to support data security and reliable systems.
- Provide executive leadership on strategy and planning while working closely with leaders across all departments.
Requirements
- Strong command of financial planning, accounting rules, tax matters, and internal control practices.
- Proven ability to design and improve policies, procedures, and systems that support scale and efficiency.
- Skill in evaluating risk, setting mitigation plans, and monitoring key metrics for performance and compliance.
- Experience working with enterprise systems, reporting tools, and data sources used for financial oversight.
- Ability to partner with operations, sales, and other teams to align financial goals with business needs.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA is preferred.
- 10+ years in senior finance leadership with experience building and guiding teams.
- Background that includes oversight of human resources areas such as talent, performance, and employee relations.
- Previous experience in a product driven setting such as manufacturing with knowledge of cost and inventory concepts.
- Record of leading cross functional initiatives with limited oversight and delivering measurable results.
