About the Job
This is not a role for someone who is comfortable summarizing last month's results and calling it strategy. At Korpack, we're looking for a Chief Financial Officer who thrives on being embedded in the action—directly within our sales, operations, and leadership environment. This is a high-impact, hands-on role built for someone who obsesses over data integrity, margin quality, and eliminating financial blind spots at every level.
The mission of this role is clear but demanding: ensure that every major decision at Korpack is grounded in reality, risks are surfaced before they become problems, and growth is profitable, scalable, and intentional. You are the financial truth-teller. You don't just report the numbers—you make the numbers mean something, building the analytical foundation that allows Korpack to scale into its next chapter.
If you're energized by turning complex operational data into clear decisions, working at the intersection of finance and strategy, and building systems that simply work, this could be your perfect fit.
The Journey
Financial Leadership & Decision Support
- Own financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis—proactively surfacing risks and opportunities before leadership has to ask.
- Define and enforce financial guardrails for growth, ensuring the business scales with discipline, not just ambition.
- Serve as the independent financial voice in leadership discussions, with the authority to challenge assumptions, escalate risks, and translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Reclaim the CEO's time by becoming the primary person who validates analyses, interprets data, and drives financial clarity across the organization.
Sales & Revenue Analytics
- Partner with Sales leadership on pipeline health, win rates, deal quality, customer concentration, and pricing strategy.
- Help define—and make widely understood—what "good revenue" vs. "bad revenue" looks like for Korpack.
- Influence quoting and deal structure with data, not gut feel. Be the analytical backbone behind every significant commercial decision.
Operational & ERP-Driven Finance
- Be deeply embedded in operations to understand cost drivers, productivity levers, and margin variability.
- Champion ERP usage, enforce data discipline, and drive standardization across the organization—eliminating shadow systems and manual workarounds that erode trust in the numbers.
- Improve the accuracy, speed, and reliability of financial and operational data so leadership can move faster and smarter.
Analytics, Data & BI
- Work directly with data—writing SQL queries when needed, building or overseeing semantic models in Power BI, and validating data at the source.
- Ensure KPIs are well-defined, trusted, and decision-grade. Own the financial metrics used in EOS scorecards and L10 meetings.
- Build the analytical infrastructure that allows the business to scale without founder-led intervention.
Team Leadership & Culture Development
- Lead and develop the accounting and finance team—elevating the function from transactional reporting to strategic partnership.
- Set the standard for rigor, ownership, and accountability. Foster a culture where tension is resolved with data, not debate, and strong leaders hold themselves accountable using shared metrics.
What Success Looks Like
- Leadership trusts financial and operational data without debate
- Clear visibility into pipeline quality, customer concentration, margin drivers, and cash flow—always
- Sales and Operations decisions are consistently data-backed
- EOS scorecards and L10 metrics reflect reality, not optimism
- Fewer surprises, faster decisions, and meaningful CEO time reclaimed
- The business can scale without founder-led analytics or intervention
The Requirements

- Comfortable being hands-on in systems, data, and analytics—including SQL and Power BI
- Confident challenging assumptions constructively and professionally, regardless of function or title
- Deep respect for ERP discipline, data integrity, and systems thinking
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bloomingdale, IL. This is not a fractional, advisory, or remote role.
Preferred Experience
- CPA, CMA, or MBA

- Background scaling a business through a period of rapid, intentional growth

- Building financial infrastructure while simultaneously supporting day-to-day decisions
- Driving data discipline across a fast-moving organization that has outgrown informal systems
- Balancing the urgency of today's decisions with the long-term architecture of a scalable finance function
The Reward
- Executive-level compensation with performance-based bonus and profit sharing
- Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and LTD benefits
- 401(k) with company match and generous PTO
