Sublette County Health is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a key executive leader for our Critical Access Hospital and rural healthcare system. This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic financial leadership with public service—supporting quality care for a close‑knit community while navigating the complexities of rural healthcare finance.

🔹 What You’ll Lead
Enterprise‑wide financial strategy and forecasting
Medicare, Medicaid, CAH, PPS, and long‑term care cost reporting
Revenue cycle oversight (billing, coding, AR, payer strategy)
Annual operating and capital budgets
Audits, internal controls, compliance, debt, and bond covenants
Capital assets, treasury, and banking relationships
A high‑performing finance and revenue cycle team
You’ll provide financial oversight across:
- Hospital services
- Clinics
- Long‑term care
- EMS
- Non‑healthcare operations and real estate assets
🔹 What We’re Looking For
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (Master’s preferred)
✔ CPA strongly preferred
✔ 7–10 years of progressive healthcare finance experience
✔ 5+ years in senior financial leadership
✔ Demonstrated expertise in:
- Critical Access Hospital or rural district finance
- Medicare cost reporting
- Public or governmental healthcare accounting
- Audit and regulatory compliance
