The Commercial Sales Operations Specialist supports the sales team by optimizing processes, managing data, and ensuring efficient execution of sales strategies. This role bridges sales, marketing, and operations to drive revenue growth and improve overall sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of the commercial sales team
- Analyze sales data, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth
- Maintain and manage CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Generate reports, dashboards, and forecasts for leadership
- Assist with pipeline management and sales tracking
- Improve sales processes and workflows for efficiency
- Coordinate with marketing, finance, and customer service teams
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems
- Assist in sales training, onboarding, and documentation
- Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to sales leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CRM tools and data reporting platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
