Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Healthcare Group
Role Overview
The CFO will be the strategic and operational financial leader of a diversified healthcare group spanning diagnostics, dialysis, clinics, hospitals, IT, medical devices, and manufacturing (diapers, dialyzers, plasma fractionation). Responsible for financial stewardship of a ₹3,000–₹4,000 crore per annum enterprise, the CFO will ensure sustainable growth, compliance, and digital transformation while optimizing performance across multiple verticals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with growth in diagnostics, dialysis, hospitals, and manufacturing.
- Oversee capital allocation across diverse verticals and manage large-scale expansion projects.
- Lead M&A, joint ventures, and investment structuring for new plants and clinics.
- Drive IPO readiness, fundraising, and investor relations.
2. Team Leadership & Systems Development
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team across all business units.
- Establish scalable financial systems, ERP, and dashboards for real-time visibility.
- Drive digital transformation in finance, integrating analytics, automation, and AI-driven forecasting.
3. Compliance, Taxation & Audit
- Ensure strict adherence to Indian regulatory frameworks (Companies Act, GST, SEBI, RBI) and international standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, and risk management frameworks.
- Optimize tax planning strategies while ensuring full compliance.
4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Manage liquidity, treasury, and working capital across diagnostics, hospitals, and manufacturing.
- Implement cash flow forecasting models to support expansion and capital-intensive projects.
- Negotiate with banks, investors, and financial institutions for debt/equity funding.
5. Business Performance & Cost Optimization
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance across verticals.
- Drive cost optimization in supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing.
- Benchmark financial performance against industry standards.
6. Financial Management & Control
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across subsidiaries.
- Implement robust internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for board and stakeholders.
7. Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with CEO, COO, and board to provide actionable financial insights.
- Build investor confidence and manage relationships with regulators, auditors, and partners.
- Lead fundraising, IPO readiness, and capital market engagement.
Preferred Candidate Profile
