Director of Healthcare Operations – Multi-Site
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced healthcare leader to join a growing, multi-site medical organization. This is a unique opportunity to lead, mentor, and inspire clinical teams across multiple locations while driving operational excellence and cultural transformation.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor 10–12 Clinical Managers who oversee site technicians, scribes, and support staff.
- Oversee remote clinical triage teams and ensure consistent, high-quality patient care across all locations.
- Travel regularly (~75% local travel) to 12–13 clinics within a 2-hour radius to assess performance, address challenges, and implement improvements.
- Serve as a visible, hands-on leader, bridging the gap between staff, providers, and organizational leadership.
- Champion change management initiatives, supporting staff through growth and operational transitions.
Who You Are
- 5+ years in healthcare management with proven success in multi-site leadership.
- Experience in ophthalmology, ASC, or complex medical group settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills—enjoy developing junior leaders.
- Comfortable managing change and navigating cultural shifts while keeping staff morale high.
- Highly visible, approachable, and empathetic with thick skin for managing transitions.
Logistics & Compensation
- Schedule: Aligns with clinic hours; extensive travel required.
- Salary: $120,000+ depending on experience.
- Travel: ~75% local travel reimbursed at the IRS mileage rate.
