We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, owning all financial functions of the business and building the systems, team, and discipline required to scale a high-growth manufacturing platform. This is a hands-on leadership role with real influence over the direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and long-range modeling
- Serve as the primary financial liaison to ownership — reporting, strategic planning, and M&A evaluation
- Build and scale financial systems, controls, and reporting infrastructure to support rapid growth
- Oversee cost accounting, job costing, and margin analysis for engineered-to-order products
- Manage treasury, cash flow, working capital, debt compliance, and banking relationships
- Build and develop the finance and accounting team
- Support facility expansion and capital allocation decisions with rigorous ROI analysis
- Partner with operations leadership on pricing strategy and gross margin improvement
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership; CFO or VP Finance title required
- Experience in a PE-backed environment — ideally through an acquisition, recapitalization, or exit transaction
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, or engineered products strongly preferred
- Strong command of cost accounting and manufacturing finance, including job costing for custom/engineered products
- Proven ability to scale finance functions in a fast-growing middle-market business
- Track record building and developing finance teams
- Based in or willing to relocate to Baton Rouge, Louisiana
