Do you thrive at the intersection of sales, finance, and commercial governance – and want to play a key role in shaping high-quality deals?
We are looking for a Senior Deal Desk Analyst to support and strengthen our Retail & Supply Chain Sales organization. In this role, you will act as a trusted commercial partner to Sales, ensuring that deals are structured correctly, priced consistently, approved efficiently, and executed in line with our financial and contractual frameworks.
The division Retail & Supply Chain delivers market-leading software solutions to ambitious retail chains and leading supply chain companies across the Nordics. Our industry-specific solutions support the entire value chain – from manufacturing to end markets – enabling digital transformation and increased competitiveness for our customers.
We focus on profitable growth, commercial discipline, and a collaborative work environment built on trust, professionalism, and strong cross-functional cooperation.
Drive commercial quality across complex deals
As Senior Deal Desk Analyst, you are responsible for ensuring commercial quality, consistency, and governance across complex deals. You act as a central commercial partner to Sales and a key link between Sales, Finance, Legal, Invoicing, and Professional Services, ensuring that deals are structured, priced, approved, and executed in line with company policies and revenue objectives.
The role combines strong commercial judgment with operational ownership and requires close collaboration across functions, as well as direct engagement with customers when needed.
You will be part of the Nordic sales organization and be based in Aarhus, Denmark, operating in a fast-paced and business-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure deal governance and execution by structuring and validating change-related input from Customer Success, Professional Services, and Sales regarding subscriptions and other commercial changes.
- Analyze, structure, and validate complex deals, including pricing, discounting, and commercial terms, to ensure alignment with revenue strategy and financial targets.
- Own deal data, pricing logic, and approval governance, ensuring non-standard deals are properly documented, escalated, and approved in line with policies.
- Perform structured deal reviews and commercial analyses, identifying risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities across the quote-to-order process.
- Provide decision-support to Sales and leadership through clear insights, data-driven recommendations, and commercial reporting.
- Ensure contractual and billing consistency, working with Legal, Finance, and Invoicing to align contracts, order data, and invoicing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales and deal processes, including data quality, tools, and commercial frameworks.
- Actively negotiate deals directly with the customer as needed and solve customer issues following execution of the deal.
Who are you?
You are a commercially strong and detail-oriented professional who combines analytical rigor with pragmatic execution. You are comfortable working independently, applying judgment in complex situations, and engaging confidently with both senior stakeholders and customers.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities with ease, and bring a collaborative, non-prestigious approach to cross-functional work.
We Believe You Have
- A bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, or another quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of overall experience, including sales operations, finance, or similar commercial processes.
- 3-4 years of experience in Deal Desk, Deal Operations, Sales Controller, or a related role.
- Proven experience structuring and quoting complex SaaS and Professional Services deals.
- Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles and commercial governance.
- Proven ability to work effectively across Sales, Finance, Legal, RevOps, and Professional Services in complex, cross-functional deal environments, building strong and trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Strong understanding of quote-to-order processes and commercial approval flows.
- Confidence representing the company in customer negotiations and resolving commercial issues.
- Strong quantitative skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including experience interacting with senior management.
- Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and working knowledge of Salesforce.
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-growing organization.
- Proficiency in English and at least one Nordic language.
