Job Description
Every large organization in Qatar is now making decisions about artificial intelligence, data governance, and operational resilience — and almost none of them can prove those decisions were made correctly. The documentation exists. The policies exist. What does not exist, in most cases, is an independently verifiable record that connects the decision to the framework it was supposed to follow, timestamps it, and makes it immutable. That gap between intent and evidence is where regulators, auditors, and boards are beginning to ask uncomfortable questions.
We built a consultancy and a technology platform around closing that gap. We advise organizations on strategic planning, risk management, AI governance, data privacy, and operational resilience — and we built a proprietary diagnostic platform that produces cryptographic proof of compliance decisions across multiple regulatory frameworks simultaneously. Not documentation. Proof. Deterministic, hash-chained, auditor-ready.
What we have not built is a commercial presence in Doha. That is this role.
The firm
Koru Impact LLC is a management consultancy, IT advisory, and regulatory technology firm registered in the Qatar Financial Centre (Registration No. 04642). We hold five permitted activity codes: strategic and operating model planning, risk management advisory, IT consultancy in AI and machine learning, IT consultancy in governance and data privacy, and customised software. These codes are not sector-specific. Our clients include — or will include — banks, insurers, energy companies, telecoms operators, government entities, healthcare institutions, and any organization where governance decisions carry regulatory or reputational consequence.
We are pre-revenue. Incorporated February 2026. A 91-institution pipeline spanning Qatar and the GCC, tiered by regulatory urgency and commercial accessibility. The CEO is based in Istanbul. The platform is built. The advisory thesis is tested. The pipeline is identified.
What is missing is the person in Doha who converts all of that into signed engagement letters.
What the role requires
This is a B2B commercial partnership, not salaried employment. You would contract with us through your own legal entity and invoice for your work. There is no employment relationship, no sponsorship, and no guaranteed monthly income.
The work itself: converting named institutional leads into scoping conversations, proposals, and closed engagements. The target organizations are large and mid-size entities in Qatar and the GCC — across sectors — that face governance, risk, AI, data privacy, or operational resilience obligations they cannot fully address with internal resources alone. Banks and financial institutions are a primary segment, but they are not the only one. Energy companies preparing for ISSB sustainability reporting, telecoms operators deploying AI across customer operations, government bodies building AI governance frameworks, and healthcare institutions managing sensitive data architectures all sit within the firm's advisory scope.
You would represent the firm in meetings with C-suite and senior leadership: Chief Compliance Officers, Chief Risk Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Information Security Officers, Heads of Strategy, and their equivalents across sectors. You would diagnose governance gaps, position our advisory and platform services, and write proposals that close.
You would work from our registered office at Burj Doha on a regular basis. The relationships that produce advisory mandates in Qatar are built in person, in Arabic and English, with people who recognize your name before you arrive.
The revenue target is $200,000 in Year 1. The pipeline is built. The product is real. What is absent is a commercially credible principal who can sit across the table from a decision-maker at QNB, Ooredoo, Qatar Energy, or the Qatar Free Zones Authority and articulate why this firm's approach to governance is worth $25,000 to $200,000 of their budget.
How you earn
Three streams. All performance-linked.
Delivery. When you deliver advisory work personally, you earn from the engagement delivery pool at your agreed hourly rate ($150–$250 depending on engagement complexity). The delivery pool is total engagement revenue minus the firm's platform fee. Deliver solo and the entire pool is yours.
Origination and introduction. For every engagement you originate: a credit equal to 8% of the platform fee. For every new client you introduce: 15% of gross engagement value on the first engagement, 10% on the second, and a 36-month trailing credit of 2% on all subsequent work with that client.
Revenue royalty — 60 months. You receive 3% of all collected firm revenue for five years, beginning from the date you close your first engagement. All firm revenue — not only engagements you originated. This is a platform participation right that compounds as the practice grows.
At $100,000 in Year 1 collected revenue with 50% personal delivery, total compensation is approximately $50,000. At $200,000 with 30% personal delivery, total compensation exceeds $63,000 with no ceiling above that. The five-year royalty alone is worth $30,000 at $200,000 annual revenue, scaling linearly with growth.
There is no retainer. No draw. No floor. This structure is designed for a person whose network, commercial instinct, and professional reputation are sufficient to generate revenue without a salary guaranteeing they will try.
Who this is for
You are currently resident in Doha with a valid Qatar ID. You have spent at least five years in a client-facing advisory, consulting, or business development role in the GCC — selling professional services, technology advisory, or management consulting to institutional buyers. Not products. Services. The distinction matters: you understand that a $75,000 advisory engagement is sold on trust, scoped on insight, and closed on credibility — not on a feature list.
You have closed B2B engagements worth $50,000 or more, repeatedly, with organizations that have procurement functions and budget committees. You are comfortable in a room with a CTO, a CCO, or a government undersecretary, and you can hold a conversation about governance, risk, data privacy, or AI strategy without reading from a script.
You speak business-fluent English. Arabic at business fluency or above is strongly preferred — it remains the primary language of institutional trust in Qatar.
You operate through your own legal entity, or you are prepared to establish one promptly.
Who this is not for
If you require guaranteed monthly compensation above QAR 25,000, this opportunity is structured differently than what you need. If your experience is exclusively in product sales — software licences, hardware, commodities — the consultative selling cycle in advisory work is a different discipline. If you have never closed a B2B professional services engagement above $50,000, the timeline does not accommodate a learning curve. If you are currently employed by a prospective client organization, the conflict-of-interest exposure is disqualifying for both parties.
Next step
Send a direct message to the Director ( Sener Cem Irmak) with two things: a brief note on why this interests you, and the names of three organizations in Qatar where you hold active senior relationships. No CV at this stage. We assess fit through conversation.
First conversations happen within 48 hours.
