Job Purpose:
The Sales Operations (Investor & Fund Reporting) team at Cerberus provides fund, investment, portfolio, and platform‑level performance and exposure analytics across credit, private equity, and real estate strategies, supporting the firm’s fundraising and investor engagement efforts. Partnering closely with Investment Professionals, Marketing, Investor Relations, and Finance, the team supports capital raising, investor diligence, and ongoing relationship management by delivering high‑quality, investor‑ready reporting and analytics.
We are recruiting an experienced Associate/Sr. Associate to support the continued growth of the business through the production of core investor reports and bespoke analyses, including fund performance materials, investment summaries, and detailed responses to due diligence and prospective investor requests.
Responsibilities:
- Support fundraising activities by preparing and reviewing materials for prospective investors, including DDQs, track record summaries, ILPA templates, and ad‑hoc analytics
- Serve as a key partner to Marketing and Investor Relations in responding to time‑sensitive prospective and current investor requests with a high degree of accuracy
- Develop, maintain, and interpret firmwide track record and performance materials used in marketing and capital raising activities
- Translate complex financial and performance concepts into clear, investor‑ready narratives
- Own end‑to‑end production and review of select fund‑level performance, exposure, and transparency reporting
- Identify opportunities to standardize and automate recurring investor and fundraising deliverables to improve scalability and responsiveness
- Collaborate with Investment Professionals, Marketing, Investor Relations, Finance, Operations, Legal and Compliance to provide value-add financial analysis and complete ad-hoc requests from current/prospective investors
- Validate models and lead strategic projects related to automation, deliverable design, and process re-engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of financial analysis, alternative investments, fund/investor reporting or similar experience
- Strong ability to manipulate, validate, and analyze large, complex data sets to support investor reporting, fundraising materials, and bespoke analyses
- Strong knowledge across alternative investment strategies including credit, private equity, and real estate
- Understanding of fund and portfolio performance metrics (IRR, Annualized Returns, Multiples, P&L Stratification) and complex/varied fee structures
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, commercial environment
- Understanding of accounting concepts and financial statement analysis (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Statement of Equity)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (Tables, Dynamic Ranges, Pivot Tables etc.)
- Proficiency with VBA or other coding language strongly preferred
- Basic proficiency in Anaplan strongly preferred
- Experience in Power BI, SAP Business Objects and SharePoint a plus
- Excellent communication skills
Compensation:
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $120,000.00 and $150,000.00. The base salary offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with a candidate’s relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is often a meaningful portion of the compensation package, and a robust benefits package.
