Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with 8+ years of experience in Salesforce testing, CPQ (Configure Price Quote), and SaaS business processes. The candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end Salesforce implementations, ensuring high-quality releases across Sales Cloud, CPQ workflows, and subscription-based SaaS models.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing for Salesforce applications, especially Sales Cloud and CPQ modules.
- Validate end-to-end CPQ processes including product configuration, pricing, quoting, discounting, approvals, and contract lifecycle.
- Test SaaS business workflows such as subscription management, renewals, amendments, billing, and invoicing.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data based on business requirements and user stories.
- Ensure data accuracy across Salesforce objects (Accounts, Opportunities, Quotes, Contracts, Orders).
- Validate integrations between Salesforce and external systems (ERP, billing systems, payment gateways).
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST clients.
- Work closely with developers, admins, and business stakeholders to ensure requirement traceability and defect resolution.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps, ensuring timely closure.
- Support automation testing using Selenium, Provar, or similar tools (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with SaaS revenue models and pricing strategies during testing.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce QA / Testing
- Strong experience in Salesforce CPQ
- Hands-on experience of SaaS business processes (subscriptions, renewals, billing)
- Good understanding of Salesforce data model and standard/custom objects
- Experience in manual and automation testing
- Proficiency in API testing (REST/SOAP)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, ALM)
- Understanding of pricing rules, product rules, and quote templates in CPQ
