We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join a dynamic wholesale organization in Northville, Michigan. This leadership role is pivotal in driving financial strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term profitability for a business generating approximately $80 million in annual revenue. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach to enhance financial processes and support organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
• Lead all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports to aid decision-making and strategic planning.
• Design and implement scalable processes and internal controls to ensure financial integrity and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations and sales, to align financial strategies with business goals.
• Drive profitability by analyzing financial data and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain smooth financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives and organizational expansion.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to strengthen overall business performance.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in full-cycle accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Proven ability to develop scalable financial processes and implement effective controls.
• Experience in wholesale, distribution, or product-based industries is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in mentoring and leading high-performing teams.
• Skilled in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
• Familiarity with international business practices and financial regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain and build strong relationships across the organization.
