About the RoleWe are looking for a strategic, execution-focused CFO to lead financial planning, fundraising, and capital strategy for Blacknut, while also helping build and launch Cropto as a new venture.
This role goes beyond traditional fundraising—you will actively identify and secure government grants, subsidies, and institutional funding opportunities to optimize capital efficiency and reduce dilution.
Key Responsibilities1. Fundraising & Capital Strategy- Lead end-to-end fundraising efforts (equity, debt, hybrid instruments)
- Build and manage relationships with VCs, angel investors, family offices, and financial institutions
- Prepare investor decks, financial models, and data rooms
- Handle due diligence, term sheets, and negotiations
- Define capital allocation strategy across Blacknut and Cropto
2. Government Grants & Non-Dilutive Funding- Identify and apply for relevant government schemes, grants, and startup funds
- Navigate programs under:
- Startup India
- SIDBI
- NABARD
- MSME Ministry
- State-level startup missions and innovation funds
- Manage end-to-end grant applications, documentation, and compliance
- Track eligibility, deadlines, and reporting requirements
- Optimize use of subsidies, tax benefits, and incentive programs
3. Financial Planning & Strategy- Build robust financial models, forecasts, and scenario planning
- Drive unit economics, pricing strategy, and profitability roadmap
- Set up scalable financial systems, reporting, and controls
- Advise founders on strategic and capital allocation decisions
4. Business & Growth Partnership- Work closely with founders on growth, expansion, and GTM strategy
- Provide data-backed insights for key decisions
- Identify partnerships, funding opportunities, and revenue levers
5. Cropto (New Venture Buildout)- Lead financial structuring and funding roadmap for Cropto
- Evaluate business model viability and investor readiness
- Build grant + funding mix strategy (equity + non-dilutive)
- Shape investor narrative and positioning from 0 → 1
6. Governance & Compliance- Ensure compliance across financial reporting, taxation, and regulations
- Oversee audits and risk management
- Maintain discipline for both private funding and grant utilization
What We’re Looking ForMust-Have- Proven experience in raising capital (equity/debt)
- Hands-on experience with government grants / startup schemes
- Strong understanding of financial modeling and fundraising strategy
- Ability to independently drive applications, approvals, and closures
Good to Have- Existing network across investors + government bodies
- Experience dealing with SIDBI / MSME / innovation grants
- Background in startup ecosystem or venture building
- Familiarity with state startup policies and incentives
