Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer plays a crucial role in advising the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer on financial strategies, planning, and management to achieve their business and financial objectives. This role works closely with the stakeholders, board members, and staff of St Vincent Health. The Chief Financial Officer is always looking for strategic ways to create processes, procedures, workflows, and structure to scale the CFO line of business. This role sits on the senior leadership team at St Vincent Health and is central to growing the company in line with its short- and long-term vision.
Chief Financial Officer
· Financial Strategy and Planning:
o Develop and implement financial strategies to support St Vincent Health’s business objectives.
o Advise clients on long-term business and financial planning.
o Evaluate and manage risk, investments, and cash flow for St Vincent Health.
· Consulting and Advisory:
o Provide expert advice on financial matters to senior management and executive teams.
o Assist client in developing and implementing effective financial policies and procedures.
o Conduct financial health assessments and recommend improvement strategies.
· Budgeting and Forecasting:
o Lead client through the budgeting process, including preparing, reviewing, and analyzing budgets.
o Provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting to clients.
· Financial Analysis and Reporting:
o Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis to provide insights into client business performance.
o Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to clients.
· Cost Management:
o Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve cost-efficiency for clients.
o Monitor and control clients' financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
· Compliance and Risk Management:
o Ensure clients comply with financial regulations and standards.
o Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard clients' assets.
· Capital Management:
o Advise clients on capital structure and financing options.
o Manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions on behalf of clients.
· Operational Efficiency:
o Improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy for clients.
o Implement best practices in financial management and operations for clients.
· Stakeholder Engagement:
o Communicate clients' financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including executives, board members, and shareholders.
o Collaborate with other departments to support overall business strategy for clients.
· EHR Strategy and Planning:
o Advise clients on the implementation and optimization of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
o Develop strategies to integrate EHR with other business processes.
o Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to EHR.
· Revenue Cycle Strategy and Planning:
o Develop and implement strategies to optimize the revenue cycle management process.
o Provide guidance on billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
o Identify opportunities to improve revenue capture and reduce billing errors
· Financial Strategy and Planning:
o Develop and implement tax strategies to support clients' business objectives.
o Advise clients on long-term tax planning
o Evaluate and manage risk, investments, and tax implications for clients
· Consulting and Advisory:
o Provide expert advice on tax matters to clients, assisting them in developing and implementing effective financial policies and procedures
o Conduct tax assessments and recommend improvement strategies
· Tax Team Leadership Advisement and Support:
o Provides guidance, support, and training as needed to maintain high performance and morale

Salary Range $180,00-$255,000
