The role of the Business Operations Lead is to help drive business operations, supporting the Chief Marketing Officer and the broader Global Marketing team as well as the North America Sales Team in a variety of functional areas. This person will be a key player in the relationship between Marketing and Sales. Your role as the Lead, Business Operations will report into the Business Operations Manager, and you will work alongside them, as well as cross functional partners, to drive strategic and scalable growth for the company.
Business Operations Responsibilities supporting Marketing and Sales include, but not limited to the following:
Work closely with the Business Operations Manager to ensure strong alignment across marketing and sales teams, driving cohesive strategy, execution, and performance
Collaborate with the Business Operations manager and cross-functional teams on ad hoc projects
Manage and organize cross-functional projects or initiatives; bring together important stakeholders and help drive decisions
Analyze business performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for operational improvement
Gather and synthesize inputs across teams, transforming them into digestible, visually compelling outputs for stakeholder consumption
Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis and data-driven recommendations
Identify inefficiencies in processes and implement solutions that improve performance and scalability
Coordinate meeting preparation and compile and distribute thorough meeting notes with clear action items and owners
Prepare and distribute reports and provide administrative support for quarterly business reviews
Local office and mailing responsibilities for territory HQ offices and notices
Communicate with internal and external contacts to ensure that all projects are being executed in a timely manner
Monitor and analyze the funnel, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization
Collaborate with HR team to ensure needs are met and internal approval processes, signatures, and local document management are being followed
Lead team communications for regional connection moments, communication channels and All Hands preparing agenda, deck, and recognition
Organize and manage a complex calendar for the Chief Marketing Officer and broader global marketing team function
Assist with travel arrangements and monthly expense reporting
Have 2+ years of proven experience in Sales or Marketing, preferably in a business operations or strategy position
Work tactically, quickly and efficiently to support senior leadership
A proven problem solver and able to make creative, forward-looking decisions
Excellent Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills (as well as Google Sheets and Google Slides)
Excellent project management skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex projects with many cross-functional stakeholder
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage detailed execution while maintaining a big-picture perspective
Ability to work with executives and senior stakeholders
Base Pay: $30 to $40 per hour
Incentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment.
