Role Summary
Chatham Capital is seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead the firm’s financial operations, planning, reporting, and capital management. The CFO will work closely with leadership to support investment activity, strengthen financial controls, and help guide the firm’s long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead accounting, finance, treasury, and reporting functions
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial planning
- Support deal analysis, diligence, structuring, and portfolio monitoring
- Maintain strong internal controls, compliance, and operational processes
- Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and firm growth
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, advisors, and other partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive finance or accounting leadership experience
- Background in investment management, private credit, PE, banking, or a related field
- Strong understanding of financial statements, capital structure, and transaction analysis
- Proven ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on
- CPA, MBA, or equivalent experience preferred
