Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Memphis, TN, for the position of Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The VP of Finance & CFO will oversee the organization's financial strategy and operations, including developing financial plans, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role will also include analytical responsibilities to support executive decision-making and coordination with internal and external stakeholders on financial reporting and fiscal policies. The VP of Finance & CFO will play a key role in advising on the allocation of funds to maximize the impact of the Cotton Research and Promotion Program.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Planning and Finance management
- Proficiency in creating and analyzing Financial Statements
- Strong Analytical Skills and experience in data-driven decision-making
- Experience with Financial Reporting, including compliance with regulatory standards
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to ethical financial practices
- Experience in nonprofit or agriculture-related sectors is a plus
