General Statement:
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the efficient and effective leadership of the Finance Department of the school district. It requires the management of the annual district budget, collaboration with schools and departments on budget development and monitoring, maintenance and improvement of financial systems and procedures, and oversight of the transportation and food service programs and district real estate swing space needs.
CSDE Educator Certification Requirements:

CT CSDE School Business Administrator certification (085), or eligibility, preferred.

Qualifications
Note: Teachers dually certified in TESOL, Bilingual Education or ESL, with experience in Sheltered Instruction or fluency in a language other than English, will be given preference for all Stamford Public School positions.
