### Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, including financial strategy, cash flow management, forecasting, and risk management. This role will work closely with the CEO/Owner and leadership team to support smart, sustainable growth.

### Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company growth goals
- Provide insights and recommendations to support major business decisions
- Act as a key advisor to the CEO/Owner
Cash Flow & Forecasting
- Build and manage cash flow forecasts
- Ensure the business maintains strong financial health during growth
- Identify risks and opportunities early
Budgeting & Planning
- Lead annual budgeting and ongoing financial planning processes
- Track performance against targets and adjust as needed
Financial Reporting
- Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting
- Work with Controller/bookkeeping team to ensure clean financials
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
Operations & Cost Management
- Analyze margins, costs, and operational efficiency
- Identify ways to improve profitability
Banking, Financing & Risk
- Manage relationships with banks and lenders
- Support financing, loans, or capital planning if needed
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements

### Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CFO, VP Finance, or senior financial leader
- Experience in a growing business (ideally $10M–$50M range)
- Strong understanding of cash flow management and scaling operations
- Hands-on and willing to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience in agriculture, food distribution, or logistics is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
