Position
Title: Salesforce Operations (CPQ & Order Management)
Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Operations (CPQ & Order Management) leader to support and enhance Riverbed’s quote-to-cash processes. This role will act as a subject matter expert and transformation lead, helping standardize processes, improve system efficiency, and implement best practices across Salesforce CPQ, order management, and revenue operations. The role will work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations teams to ensure scalable and efficient deal execution across global markets.
What You Will Do
Quote-to-Cash & CPQ Leadership
- Own and optimize the end-to-end quote-to-cash lifecycle (quoting, pricing, approvals, order booking, renewals)
- Configure and manage Salesforce CPQ, including pricing rules, discount structures, approval workflows, and product catalog
- Ensure consistent and scalable deal execution processes across regions
Salesforce & Systems Optimization
- Lead enhancements across Salesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ, Revenue Cloud)
- Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements and automation
- Partner with IT to improve system integrations (ERP, billing, finance tools)
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Define and implement best practices for order management and sales operations
- Improve quote turnaround time, order accuracy, and deal cycle time
- Support quarter-end and high-volume transaction periods
- Track and monitor KPIs (deal velocity, conversion, order accuracy)
Stakeholder Management & Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to Sales Ops leadership on process improvements and scaling strategy
- Collaborate with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal teams to streamline workflows
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on CPQ and order management
Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive initiatives to improve process efficiency and scalability
- Identify opportunities for automation (workflow automation, CPQ rules, AI-driven processes)
- Support the evolution of a global operating model for sales operations
What Makes You An Ideal Candidate
- 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or CPQ-focused roles
- Strong expertise in Salesforce CPQ and quote-to-cash processes
- Experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ, Revenue Cloud)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
- Experience working in enterprise software / SaaS companies
- Salesforce certifications (CPQ Specialist, Admin, Advanced Admin)
- Experience leading CPQ implementations or transformations
- Experience working with global sales teams across geographies
- Strong understanding of SaaS / subscription-based business models
- Proven ability to manage complex deal structures and pricing workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
