This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded CFO to help shape the next chapter of a respected community services organisation.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer will play a critical leadership role during a period of positive and exciting change.
A commercially curious, hands-on leader who can operate as a true strategic business partner is needed to help build the financial, operational and systems foundations required to support future growth. The role will also focus on improving productivity and enabling scalable service delivery.
Key priorities will include:
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, financial reporting, governance and compliance
- Providing commercial analysis and support for new contracts, partnerships, investment initiatives and potential M&A activity
- Leading the implementation of a new ERP and supporting broader systems, reporting and CRM transformation
- Driving operational efficiency through improved reporting, workflows, business intelligence and decision-making capability
- Leading and developing the finance function while building strong cross-functional relationships
About You
You are a CA/CPA qualified and commercially minded finance executive who enjoys building, improving and scaling organisations. You bring strong business acumen, practical problem-solving capability and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in senior finance leadership positions within complex service-based organisations, along with strong commercial, analytical and financial modelling capability. Experience leading ERP or systems implementation projects, as well as exposure to growth, transformation or scale-up environments, will be highly regarded.
You are a collaborative and relationship-driven leader with high adaptability, resilience and learning agility. Exposure to government-funded, healthcare, NFP or community services sectors would be advantageous, though not essential.
