Job Summary And Qualifications
The ACFO of HealthTrust’s GPO Operations will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team of HealthTrust to help support and oversee the financial operations and strategies of the organization, across all lines of business and stakeholders as well as key operational support functions. This role will have broad-based engagement within the GPO. The ACFO will be responsible for financial reporting, FP&A, internal controls/SOX processes, monthly operating reviews, month-end close processes, routine projections, variance analysis, margin reviews, and leading the annual budgeting process. The ACFO will also play a critical role in supporting special projects such as financial resiliency, acquisitions/divestitures, and long-term automation planning. In addition to the CFO and other members of the team or in absence of the CFO, the ACFO will be responsible for representing GPO Operations with HCA Healthcare senior operations leaders, Internal Audit, Reimbursement, Tax, corporate accounting, GCN, and senior executive management. This position is a key role that will provide broad exposure and learnings across all GPO domains and provide expanded capacity and depth for the GPO senior leaders.
What you will do in this role:
- Assume a lead role in analyzing and exploring means of improving margins
- Guarantees accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution, and retention of all financial reports and records
- Provide financial insight and input to the GPO’s strategic initiatives
- Oversee the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets
- Lead and coordinate the completion of the annual budgeting process
- Create, monitor, and maintain controls and key operational performance measures related to the distribution subsidiary
- Oversee financial operations of the international offices including consolidation, annual tax requirements, and ad hoc questions
- Provides technical accounting GAAP guidance and support to all company entities
- Provides support related to due diligence and other activities surrounding acquisitions/disposals as needed
- Recommend to leadership areas of improvement and assist in driving results
- Maintains accuracy of the balance sheet
- Assure corporate income tax compliance to assure the accurate and timely completion of all corporate tax returns
- Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value

- Completes and/or reviews financial justifications for operational business cases and customer billing proposals
- Respond to CFO as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate their financial needs
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree – Required
- Master’s degree – Preferred
- 10+ years of experience – Required
- Certified Public Accountant - Required
