Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Lead is the backbone of the sales organisation, helping to drive operational excellence, forecasting rigor, and scalable processes that enable high performing teams. This role will partner closely with cross functional teams, Sales Leadership, Enablement, Finance and Systems to help translate strategy into execution and move the business from a reactive supporting mechanist to a proactive engine room with increasingly prescriptive decision making.
You will help drive revenue with your strong analytical skills, provide key insights into sales cadences, and improve seller efficiency by driving key deliverables such as account plans and deal closure templates whilst maintaining and operationalising the fundamentals of sales methodology and best practice sales rhythms.
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-day
- Lead forecasting processes and improve accuracy (definitions, stage discipline, methodology and reporting)
- Monitor pipeline health (coverage, conversion, velocity, slippage) and drive actions to improve outcomes
- Delivery key performance insights to sales leadership
- Support territory design, capacity planning, coverage models and quota setting in partnership with the Head of Sales Operations, Finance, and leadership
- Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies to optimise the sales lifecycle
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, risks and growth opportunities, providing actionable insights
- Deliver regular and accurate reporting and dashboards, and performance metrics to leadership and sales GMs
- Work closely with Marketing, Product and GTM teams to ensure consistent messaging and content alignment
- Lead and develop the Sales Operations function, ensuring delivery against key objectives.
What You’ll Bring To This Role
- 5-10 years in sales operations/revenue operations, commercial operations or similar
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and provide clear insights
- Experience managing CRM systems and sales tools, with a focus on adoption and optimisation
- Demonstrated ability to design and improve sales processes and operational frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Resilient and adaptable with excellent problem-solving skills.
