Our client is a fast-growing private equity-backed healthcare technology and SaaS platform focused on delivering data-driven solutions that improve operational performance, visibility, and outcomes across the healthcare ecosystem. The business is entering an exciting phase of growth and scale and is seeking a strategic yet hands-on Chief Financial Officer to partner closely with the CEO, executive leadership team, and private equity sponsors.
This is a unique opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys building, partnering cross-functionally, and operating as both a strategic advisor and hands-on operator within a high-growth environment. The organization already has a strong Controller and accounting foundation in place, and the CFO will focus heavily on strategic finance, FP&A, operational insights, capital planning, and helping scale the business for continued growth and value creation.
Position Summary
The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and will be responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, forecasting, planning, operational finance, reporting, and overall financial performance. This individual will work closely with private equity ownership and executive leadership to support strategic decision-making, drive scalability, improve visibility into KPIs and performance drivers, and help position the business for long-term growth.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with experience operating in private equity-backed SaaS, healthcare technology, or recurring revenue environments. This person should be comfortable rolling up their sleeves while also serving as a high-level business partner to the CEO and Board.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team on strategic planning, financial performance, and business growth initiatives
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and financial modeling processes
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, SaaS metrics, and operational reporting to improve visibility and decision-making
- Provide actionable financial insights around revenue performance, profitability, customer trends, cash flow, and operational efficiency
- Support private equity sponsors with board reporting, lender reporting, and value creation initiatives
- Oversee FP&A, treasury, cash management, and strategic finance functions while partnering closely with the Controller on accounting operations and compliance
- Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and scalable financial infrastructure to support continued growth
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, customer success, and technology teams to improve alignment and business performance
- Assist with M&A evaluation, integration support, and strategic growth opportunities as needed
- Support banking relationships, debt compliance, and capital planning initiatives
- Build and maintain a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational partnership across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including experience as a CFO or senior finance executive within a private equity-backed environment
- Prior experience within SaaS, healthcare technology, healthcare services, recurring revenue, or technology-enabled services businesses strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, recurring revenue models, forecasting, and operational finance
- Experience partnering with private equity sponsors, lenders, and Boards
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced growth environment
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner cross-functionally
- Hands-on leadership style with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience helping scale businesses, improve reporting infrastructure, and drive operational accountability
