Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer. As a co-founder, you will lead the complete Go-to-Market 0 to 1 strategy, building the sales motion from the ground up across schools, enterprises, and parent-facing channels. You will drive early traction strategy, build revenue and monetization models, own user acquisition and growth, and close early deals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environments and wants to take full ownership of building and scaling the growth engine. You will work closely with the founders to validate product-market fit, meet customers on the ground, establish sales processes, and shape the company's growth trajectory.
What You Will Do:
- Growth and GTM (0 to 1 to Scale) • Define and execute GTM across schools, enterprises, and parent segments • Market segmentation, ICP definition, and launch strategy • Build scalable outbound and inbound demand generation funnels • Identify the fastest path from MVP to PMF • Create repeatable growth loops and acquisition engines
- Product Marketing and Positioning • Craft compelling value propositions, branding structure, and messaging framework for each target segment • Build a strong brand narrative, business model canvas, use cases, and positioning • Drive content-led and organic sales-led growth
- Own Revenue and Monetization Strategy • Define and validate pricing, business, and revenue models • Build early pipelines and convert leads into paying customers • Experiment with different monetization strategies to identify scalable revenue streams
- Lead Generation and Prospecting (0 to 1 Strategy) • Work directly with the market to validate demand and gather real-world insights • Visit schools and educational institutions to understand their learning needs and challenges • Meet with school leaders, teachers, administrators, and enterprise decision-makers to present the platform and build relationships • Meet with parents and family-focused communities to drive Phonout adoption • Conduct product demonstrations, collect feedback, and validate product-market fit • Identify, research, and qualify potential leads across targeted schools and enterprises throughout India • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective partnerships • Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture interest, secure meetings, and close early deals
- Collaboration and Feedback Loops • Work closely with founders to align on messaging, buyer personas, and campaign goals • Provide market feedback on prospect pain points, objections, and buyer trends • Collaborate with the product or growth team to refine value propositions based on prospect conversations
What We Are Looking For:
• 5 or more years of proven experience in EdTech or B2B SaaS startup sales and growth
• Relevant degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business from a recognised university
• Strong track record of building, growing, and scaling 0 to 1 GTM sales motion including designing and executing sales playbooks
• Proven hands-on expertise in cold outreach, partnership development, distributor networks, field sales, and robust pipeline generation
• Deep understanding of EdTech and enterprise device management sectors preferred
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hustle-first, excuses-never approach that thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments
• Demonstrated ability to hit aggressive pipeline and revenue targets while experimenting and iterating fast
