Chief Financial Officer (CFO) | Strategic Finance & Growth Executive
ACFM is seeking an entrepreneurial, operationally minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the executive leadership team of a growing Canadian company entering its next phase of expansion and strategic evolution.
This is not a traditional finance role.
The successful candidate will be a strategic business leader with strong financial acumen, operational capability, fundraising experience, and a demonstrated track record supporting growth through acquisitions, integration, and execution.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder and go-getter — someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership, solves problems proactively, and wants to play a meaningful role in scaling and shaping a growing organization.

Location
This role will work closely with the ACFM team and is based out of our offices in London and Tillsonburg, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead corporate finance, accounting, treasury, tax, and reporting functions
- Partner with ownership and senior leadership on strategic planning and operational execution
- Support and lead M&A initiatives, integrations, restructurings, and growth projects
- Lead fundraising initiatives, lender negotiations, and investor relationships
- Develop financial models, forecasts, budgets, and executive reporting materials
- Improve operational visibility, KPI reporting, systems, and decision-making processes
- Help drive long-term value creation across the organization
- Participate in executive-level decision-making beyond finance
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and projects with a focus on accountability, execution, and measurable results
Ideal Candidate Profile
- CPA designation preferred; MBA or corporate finance background considered an asset
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience
- Experience in entrepreneurial, growth-stage, private company, or PE-backed environments
- Proven fundraising, lender negotiation, and investor relations experience
- Strong M&A and integration experience
- Operationally minded with strong commercial instincts
- Entrepreneurial, highly driven, and comfortable with accountability
- Executive presence with broader CEO-style leadership capabilities
- Comfortable operating with autonomy in dynamic environments
