Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in La Crosse, WI, for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will be responsible for leading the organization’s financial planning, overseeing financial reporting, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role will also include developing budgets, managing cash flow, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the mission and long-term sustainability of the organization. The CFO will collaborate closely with leadership, staff, and stakeholders to enhance financial efficiency and support operational goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and Finance
- Experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Strong Analytical Skills for financial analysis and decision-making
- Proven ability to develop and manage budgets effectively
- Knowledge of nonprofit financial management is a plus
- Expertise in regulatory compliance and financial best practices
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
