About This Role
The Chief Financial Officer serves as a key strategic and operational partner to ownership and leadership during an important stage of growth for The Hall Group. This role is responsible for overseeing the financial health and accounting operations of a multi-entity organization while helping leadership make thoughtful, disciplined decisions around growth, investment, scalability, and long-term business strategy.
Initially, this position will operate in both strategic and hands-on capacities, inheriting a significant amount of operational accounting oversight while also helping strengthen the company’s financial infrastructure for the future. The CFO will work closely with leadership to improve financial visibility, develop stronger reporting and KPI processes, support budgeting and forecasting efforts, evaluate operational and capital investments, and help build a more scalable accounting and finance structure over time.
Success in this role will come from the ability to balance financial discipline with entrepreneurial growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong business judgment, operational awareness, leadership maturity, and the confidence to serve as a trusted advisor within a fast-moving and highly relationship-driven organization.

Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee financial and accounting operations across multiple entities within The Hall Group
- Manage monthly close processes, financial reporting, and overall financial accuracy
- Support ownership and leadership with strategic financial analysis and decision-making
- Develop stronger budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting processes
- Evaluate profitability, operational performance, and cost accounting visibility across the organization
- Support capital investment analysis, debt strategy, cash management, and long-term financial planning
- Help strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and operational financial structure
- Oversee banking relationships, audits, and coordination with outside financial partners
- Assess current accounting team structure and help guide future finance and accounting growth
- Support leadership accountability and operational decision-making through financial insight and reporting
- Participate as a key member of the leadership team and future growth planning initiatives
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
- Experience in a Controller, CFO, or senior financial leadership role
- Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial reporting, and business analysis
- Manufacturing, operational, or multi-entity business experience strongly preferred
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and financial planning
- Strong understanding of cash flow management, debt structure, and capital investment analysis
- Cost accounting experience or exposure preferred
- Audit experience or strong audit exposure preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management capabilities
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution
- ERP experience required; Epicor experience preferred
- CPA preferred but not required
- High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and organizational discipline
