The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will handle accounting for a large portfolio of single purpose entities for a family-owned real estate development firm in Hattiesburg, MS. This role requires expertise in accounting, financial statement preparation, and preparation of financial proformas in order to evaluate potential real estate projects. Entails providing information to lenders, investors, and tax preparers as needed. Knowledge of construction accounting is desired. Looking for someone with a strong accounting background, a strong work ethic, and someone highly organized.
Responsibilities
- Accounting of approximately seventy-five (75) single purpose entities
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders and investors
- Optimize cash flow, control costs and improve financial efficiency
- Work with the outside CPA's to ensure that all tax filings are filed timely.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in financial management
- Strong skills in financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, and risk management
- Proven leadership and communication abilities
- Expertise in cash flow management
Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
