This is a high-impact contract opportunity for someone who understands how commercial organisations actually operate and how CRM, customer data and Revenue Growth Management processes support business performance.
You will act as the business lead for CRM adoption and commercial data enablement across a complex FMCG environment. This is not a pure IT or system administration role. The focus is on adoption, data quality, commercial process discipline and stakeholder engagement across Sales, Finance, RGM, Sales Operations and IT.
You will join a lean and fast-moving consumer goods business where people are expected to operate with pace, take ownership and deliver outcomes directly. The environment will suit someone who is hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable working across multiple priorities without large support teams around them.
The opportunity
This role sits at the centre of CRM adoption, commercial process improvement and commercial data governance across a field-sales organisation.
You will help drive:
CRM adoption and user engagement
Commercial process consistency
Better commercial data quality
Improved visibility across pricing, promotions and trade investment
Stronger alignment between Sales, Finance, RGM and Operations
You will also play a key role in supporting commercial teams to understand how CRM data impacts forecasting, reporting and business performance.
What you will be doing
Acting as the business SME for CRM processes and ways of working
Driving CRM adoption and best practice across sales teams
Supporting commercial data quality, governance and process consistency
Working closely with Sales, Finance, RGM, Sales Operations and IT stakeholders
Embedding consistent processes around pricing, promotions and trade spend
Delivering training, coaching and onboarding support to commercial users
Identifying data gaps, process issues and user workarounds
Supporting reporting, forecasting and downstream commercial analytics
Gathering user feedback and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Supporting testing and rollout activities for system or process changes
What we are looking for
Required:
Experience within CRM adoption, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, CRM Enablement or RGM environments
Strong understanding of commercial processes within FMCG, consumer goods or field-sales organisations
Experience supporting pricing, promotions, trade spend or revenue growth processes
Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
A strong data mindset with focus on quality, governance and process discipline
Experience training or enabling commercial users through change and adoption initiatives
Comfortable operating within lean, fast-paced and evolving environments
Desirable:
Experience with Siebel CRM or similar commercial CRM platforms
FMCG, retail or consumer goods sector experience
Exposure to UK&I or European commercial organisations
Experience supporting CRM or commercial transformation programmes
This is a 12-month inside IR35 contract operating on a day-rate basis through agency payroll.
No sponsorship or relocation offered.

Proven background supporting Sales Operations, CRM enablement, commercial data governance and Revenue Growth Management processes including pricing, promotions and trade spend. Comfortable operating in lean, fast-paced organisations where ownership, stakeholder management and hands-on delivery are critical. Experience working across Sales, Finance, RGM and IT functions to improve CRM adoption, commercial process consistency and data quality. Exposure to Siebel CRM or similar commercial CRM platforms preferred.
