We work closely with leading partner brands and operate retail locations throughout Southern California, including our flagship Westfield UTC location in San Diego.

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and business-minded professional to join our team as a Business Operations Manager. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands business operations and contracts, and enjoys balancing executive support with hands-on operational leadership.
This position will serve as the primary liaison between ATLAS and our partner brands while also supporting executive leadership and retail operations. The ideal candidate is strategic, detail-oriented, operationally strong, and excited about helping scale a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Partnership Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner brands and external business partners
- Respond to partner inquiries and maintain strong ongoing business relationships
- Coordinate partnership communications, deliverables, timelines, and operational needs
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with brand partners and vendors
- Support brand outreach and business development initiatives
- Identify new partnership opportunities and assist with company growth initiatives
- Develop and support sales and partnership growth strategies
- Assist in creating and executing business development plans and strategic initiatives
- Represent ATLAS professionally in meetings, retail environments, and external communications
Contract & Business Administration- Review, organize, and maintain partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and operational documentation
- Track contract deliverables, deadlines, and operational requirements
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping and organizational compliance across projects
- Coordinate with leadership, accounting, and external partners regarding agreements and approvals
- Assist with operational reporting, invoice coordination, and administrative processes
- Maintain organized business documentation and internal operational systems
Retail Operations Support- Travel frequently to retail locations across Southern California, including regular travel to San Diego and the Westfield UTC flagship location
- Support store management teams with operational execution and partner initiatives
- Help ensure consistency in brand standards, customer experience, and operational performance
- Assist with store launches, events, activations, merchandising initiatives, and operational improvements
- Monitor retail operations and communicate performance observations and operational feedback to leadership
- Work collaboratively with retail teams to improve operational efficiency and execution
Executive Support & Strategic Operations- Work directly with the CEO and COO on day-to-day business operations and strategic initiatives
- Act as a strategic operational partner to executive leadership across company initiatives and growth projects
- Assist with scheduling, project coordination, meeting preparation, and follow-up tasks
- Coordinate communication between departments and external partners
- Support special projects, operational initiatives, and executive priorities as needed
- Assist leadership with strategic planning and operational decision-making
Project Management & Business Development- Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects from planning through execution
- Develop project timelines, operational workflows, and implementation strategies
- Track deliverables, priorities, and deadlines across multiple departments
- Help identify process improvements and scalable operational solutions
- Support sales strategy initiatives and operational growth opportunities
- Assist with business expansion planning and operational development initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership on long-term company growth strategies
QualificationsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Business Administration, Operations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in business operations, account management, executive support, retail operations, business development, project management, or related roles
- Strong understanding of contracts, professional business communication, and organizational processes
- Understanding of sales strategy, partnership development, and business growth initiatives
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and operational follow-through
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently throughout Southern California
Preferred Qualifications- MBA or graduate-level business education is strongly preferred, but not required
- Experience working directly with executive leadership teams or founders
- Experience working with retail brands, partnerships, or multi-location retail businesses
- Familiarity with retail operations and store management environments
- Experience developing business development strategies or sales initiatives
- Experience managing projects in startup, retail, operational, or high-growth environments
- Experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, or operational software

Work Environment & Growth OpportunityThis role is currently structured as a hybrid position based in Los Angeles, California. However, candidates should be comfortable with the position transitioning to a primarily or fully in-person role over time as business operations continue to expand.
Frequent travel to San Diego and other Southern California retail locations is required.

Compensation & Benefits- Annual compensation range: $72,000 – $90,000
