Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our organization’s financial planning, management, and growth initiatives. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial strategy, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and supporting overall business development. Duties
- Develop and oversee the company’s financial strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and cash flow management to ensure fiscal health.
- Lead accounting functions including account reconciliation, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential financial threats and implement mitigation strategies.
- Negotiate contracts, financing arrangements, and strategic partnerships to support business growth.
- Oversee corporate finance activities such as capital raising, investment analysis, and asset management.
- Drive business development initiatives by analyzing market trends and identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to establish organizational policies that promote financial integrity and operational efficiency.
- Lead a team of finance professionals, fostering leadership development and organizational skills within the department.
- Ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies related to financial operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in corporate finance, accounting, or related senior financial roles.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal-making.
- Expertise in sales strategies and business development to support organizational growth.
- Solid understanding of risk management principles within a corporate setting.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting practices, account reconciliation, and financial services industry standards.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent organizational skills for managing teams and projects effectively.
- Ability to develop strategic plans, analyze complex data, and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred.
