The company operates multiple manufacturing sites across Europe and generates several hundred million euros in annual revenue, serving leading OEMs with technologically sophisticated products and solutions.
Following a recent ownership transition, the organization is entering a new phase focused on operational excellence, performance improvement, and strategic development across its European business activities.
To support this next stage, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Chief Financial Officer Europe to join the executive leadership team. The role combines strategic financial leadership with operational involvement across the organization and offers significant exposure to transformation and value creation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, Compliance, and related administrative functions across the European organization
- Strategic business partnering to the CEO, shareholders, and executive leadership team
- Driving transparency, performance management, and operational efficiency across multiple sites and business units
- Leadership of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities
- Active involvement in transformation initiatives, restructuring measures, and performance improvement programs
- Support and execution of M&A-related activities, integrations, carve-outs, and strategic projects
- Further development and harmonization of financial structures, processes, systems, and KPIs across the organization
- Management and development of international finance teams within a matrix environment
- Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting, tax, audit, and governance requirements
Profile
- Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance executive within an international industrial or automotive environment
- Strong background in manufacturing-driven organizations with operational and commercial complexity
- Track record in transformation, restructuring, or private equity-related environments
- Experience with M&A processes, integrations, ownership transitions, or carve-out situations
- Strong analytical, strategic, and operational capabilities combined with a hands-on mentality
- Ability to act as a trusted sparring partner to executive management and shareholders
- International mindset with strong communication and leadership skills
