Clayton Services is searching for a CFO to join a thriving company in Pasadena, Texas. The CFO is a key executive team member, responsible for leading the finance organization to support scalable growth, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives, including organic expansion and M&A. This role partners closely with the CEO and senior leaders to drive profitability, cash flow, and value creation while serving as a financial advisor and operational strategist.

CFO Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership:
- Actively participate in executive leadership discussions and decision-making.
- Collaborate with leaders across departments to drive revenue, margin, and profitability in alignment with strategic goals.
- Challenge assumptions and offer solutions to improve outcomes and decision-making across the business.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of operational levers, including pricing strategies, capital deployment, customer performance, and workforce productivity.
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance.
- Deliver timely, accurate financial reports to internal stakeholders, lenders, and the board.
- Develop and refine financial and operational KPIs to support transparency and accountability.
- Lead the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual P&Ls across all business units.
Budgeting & Planning:
- Direct annual budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes.
- Translate strategic objectives into measurable financial plans.
- Provide visibility into financial performance and trends to enable proactive management.
- Evaluate business activities and investments, offering insight into financial impact and risks.
Capital Management & Financing:
- Manage relationships with lenders, including compliance with loan terms and covenants.
- Lead cash flow planning and optimization.
- Support debt financing, refinancing, and capital raising activities.
- Monitor key financial ratios and provide forecasts to anticipate future needs or risks.
- Oversee working capital, collections, vendor payments, and capex budgeting.
Mergers & Acquisitions:
- Play a critical role in evaluating and executing M&A opportunities.
- Lead due diligence efforts and develop financial models for potential acquisitions.
- Oversee post-acquisition integration and drive the realization of financial synergies.
Board & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary financial contact for the board and financial sponsors.
- Prepare board materials, financial reviews, and strategic updates.
- Engage regularly with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, risks, and performance.
Technology & Systems Oversight:
- Ensure business systems, including ERP and financial tools, are aligned with current and future needs.
- Collaborate with IT and functional leaders to safeguard the company's digital infrastructure.

CFO Education and Experience:
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 5+ years in a CFO role with a manufacturing company
- Must have industry experience in the manufacturing of goods.
- Experience in standard cost and asset-based lending is required.
