Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Analyst to join our team. This role is vital in supporting operational efficiency, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights to enhance business performance. Duties
- 2 years in the seed processing and edible oil extraction equipment industry; Technical Knowledge of the equipment (Sizing of equipment, Type of Machines, etc.);
- Financial Accounting and understanding of business statements;
- Commercial Development and understanding of the industry's micro and macro economic environment. (The life cycle of processing plants)
- Advanced English Knowledge for international customer management and relationship development.
- Acquaintance with international logistics (Quotes for Route selection, Insurances (FOB, etc), Custom Clearance, Letters of Credit negotiations, etc.)
- Be available to travel internationally on short notice for periods of 2 to 4 weeks.Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support management decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and implement best practices
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Assist in the development of operational strategies and project plans
- Conduct root cause analysis for operational challenges and recommend effective solutions
- Prepare detailed documentation of processes, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Proven experience in data analysis, process improvement, or operations support preferred
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior experience with project management methodologies is advantageous
Pay: $45,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
