Summary
As the Finance & Controlling Lead for our Business Unit, you will partner with the BU Head and Group CFO to steer performance across a global, multi-site manufacturing network. You will own the monthly close and planning rhythms, build robust cost-control and KPI systems, and lead finance teams across the BU’s legal entities. This role combines hands-on operations controlling with strategic guidance for investments, transfer pricing, and M&A.
Responsibilities
- Partner with BU Head and Group CFO to translate strategy into financial targets and actions.
- Own monthly closing, management reporting, and variance analysis for the BU and its entities.
- Lead Rolling Forecast, annual Budget, and 5‑Year Plan processes with clear assumptions and drivers.
- Establish standard costing/operations controlling models, KPIs, and cost-control methodologies.
- Govern CAPEX: build business cases, prioritize portfolio, and track ROI and project benefits.
- Drive transfer pricing design and rollout in collaboration with tax and local finance teams.
- Harmonize and digitize accounting/controlling processes, tools, and master data across the network.
- Lead finance on M&A, including due diligence, deal support, risk controls, and post‑merger integration.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in BU/plant finance or controlling roles within multi-site production environments.
- Proven operations controlling expertise (standard costing, product costing, and margin/variance analysis).
- Strong SAP FI/CO experience; exposure to standard costing setups is ideal.
- Solid understanding of month-end close, internal controls, and risk management practices.
- Experience leading CAPEX evaluation and investment governance in an industrial setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; fluent English.
