About The Role
This is the first dedicated Revenue Operations hire at a well-funded, fast-growing B2B SaaS company in the industrial AI/procurement space. You'll partner directly with revenue leadership to design, build, and operate the systems and processes that power the full revenue cycle — from outbound business development through AE pipeline, customer onboarding, and expansion. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for someone who thrives building from zero in a demanding, ambiguous environment.
What You'll Do
- Partner with the Revenue Operations Lead and Managing Director of Revenue to build and scale revenue systems company-wide.
- Lead strategic projects that reshape the sales motion and support enterprise and international expansion.
- Own and maintain the operational backbone spanning business development, AE pipeline management, customer onboarding, and expansion revenue.
- Build reporting and analytics frameworks that surface actionable patterns and drive strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, business development, account executives, customer experience, and expansion teams to remove friction and accelerate growth.
- Design and implement enablement programs, AI tooling, and onboarding solutions that multiply team output.
- Contribute to compensation and equity structure design as the revenue function scales.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves (dealbreakers)
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations or an equivalent role building and delivering revenue processes and systems end-to-end.
- Proven track record operationalizing the full revenue cycle: outbound/business development, AE pipeline management, customer onboarding, and expansion.
- Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
Required
- Systems thinker who designs structures and operationalizes them yourself — not just advises.
- Experience delivering measurable revenue improvements in high-growth or VC-backed startup environments (ideally built from zero or during rapid scaling).
- Ability and willingness to work on-site in Munich 4+ days per week.
- Comfortable working directly with founders, managing directors, and senior revenue leadership to define and execute strategy.
- Experience enabling or implementing AI tooling and automation within a revenue operations context.
- Track record of extreme ownership: you identify problems, build the fix, and ship — without waiting for permission.
Nice To Have
- Prior founder experience or a strong entrepreneurial orientation (aspiration to start or back a company in the future).
- Background in consulting, enterprise software, or industrial/manufacturing tech.
Location & Work Arrangement
This role is based in
Munich, Bavaria, Germany and is fully on-site (4+ days per week in office).
Visa sponsorship is not available — candidates must have existing authorization to work in Germany.
