We are looking for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic and operational financial leadership for a privately held global manufacturing organization in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position will oversee core finance activities, strengthen financial visibility, and support sound decision-making across the business. The CFO will work closely with executive leadership, ownership, and the Board to guide performance, shape long-range plans, and align capital strategy with company goals.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the full scope of finance operations, including accounting oversight, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, and timely financial analysis.
• Deliver clear and accurate financial reporting that equips executives, ownership, and Board stakeholders to evaluate results and business performance.
• Lead month-end close activities to ensure reporting deadlines are met and financial information is complete, reliable, and decision-ready.
• Develop cash flow strategies and capital planning recommendations that support liquidity, investment priorities, and overall financial stability.
• Advise leadership on debt structure, funding considerations, and capital allocation to balance growth objectives with financial risk.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights that improve operational performance and profitability.
• Establish and refine finance processes and supporting business systems to improve efficiency, control, and reporting consistency.
• Contribute to long-term business planning by evaluating financial outcomes, strategic opportunities, and resource requirements across the organization.
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior-level responsibility within complex business environments.
• Demonstrated success leading financial reporting, planning, controls, and month-end close processes.
• Strong background in cash flow analysis, capital management, and debt-related financial strategy.
• Experience preparing and presenting board reporting materials for executive and ownership audiences.
• Proven ability to operate as a strategic partner to executive leadership and influence high-level business decisions.
• Familiarity with business systems that support financial operations, reporting accuracy, and process improvement.
• Prior experience within manufacturing or a similarly operationally intensive industry is strongly preferred.
